Ledig stilling hos Fibo – Accountant/regnskapsmedarbeider

The opportunity

As our Accountant you will be a part of Fibo’s global Finance, IT and Analytics team. You will be ensuring accurate accounting records for two of Fibo Group’s subsidiaries and driving process improvements and efficiencies in the areas of Accounts Payable and Bank. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensure accurate Accounts Payable balances, correct VAT coding and four-eyes principal approval flow of supplier invoices
• Process payments
• Maintain the Supplier register updated at all times
• Ensure Cash Balances are correct
• Drive efficiencies and strong internal controls throughout the Purchase to Pay process by maximizing the system’s potential (Medius) and fully own the accounting side of it

About you

For the role as Accountant, we are seeking a structured and analytical individual who can improve processes and drive efficiencies. We are looking for you who is eager to learn and comfortable in a fast-paced culture, works proactively and takes responsibility to drive results. You enjoy working both independently as well as in teams and have excellent knowledge of English and any of the Scandinavian languages. The position will be based in Lyngdal and might require some travel.

Ideally you will have the following experience and capabilities:                                            

• Fast learner and able to think outside the box
• A degree in accounting
• Minimum three years of experience from working as an auditor and / or accountant
• Experience driving process improvements and efficiencies
• Advanced MS Excel
• Power BI beginner’s knowledge
• Experience of having worked in Medius is an advantage

Som regnskapsmedarbeider blir du en del av Fibos globale team for økonomi, IT og analyse. Du får ansvar for å sikre korrekte regnskapsdata for datterselskapene Fibo AS og Fibo AB og blir en nøkkelperson i arbeidet med prosessforbedringer og effektivisering innen håndtering av inngående fakturaer, leverandørreskontroer og bank.

Dine hovedoppgaver vil være å:

• Sikre korrekte leverandørreskontroer, riktig MVA-koding og godkjenningsflyt for leverandørfakturaer
• Sørge for at leverandørregisteret til enhver tid er oppdatert
• Daglig oppdatering av inn- og utbetalingsfiler og avstemming mot bank
• Bidra til effektivisering og gode interne kontroller gjennom hele Purchase-to-Pay-prosessen ved å utnytte systempotensialet i Medius og ta fullt eierskap til den regnskapsmessige delen

• Erfaring med Medius er en fordel
• Evne til å lære raskt og tenke kreativt
• Utdanning innen regnskap
• Minimum tre års erfaring som revisor og/eller regnskapsmedarbeider
• Erfaring med prosessforbedringer og effektivisering
• Avanserte ferdigheter i MS Excel
• Grunnleggende kunnskap i Power BI
